What We Do

It’s simple: Discover. Analyze. Share.

  • GATHER INFORMATION

Where there is secrecy, we seek to bring information to light. Where there is obfuscation, we seek clarity.

  • ASSESS INFORMATION

Explore questions such as: What is true? What is false? What information don’t we know? What other information should be sought?

  • MAINTAIN FOCUS

Address the issue at hand, and do not be distracted or confused by fallacious rhetoric and/or misinformation tactics.

  • ANALYZE INFORMATION

Understand the meaning and significance of information according to the values and conditions that protect and support our democracy.

  • SHARE WHAT WE LEARN

Publish the information we find, along with our analysis of what it means in relation to our commitment to the values and conditions of democracy.

“Everybody counts in applying democracy. And there will never be a true democracy until every responsible and law-abiding adult in it, without regard to race, sex, color or creed, has his or her own inalienable and unpurchasable voice in government.”

Carrie Chapman Catt
